Lake Como, Italy

We drove north from Milan for about an hour to reach the lake which is 146 square km in size and the Y-shaped lake is 410 m deep.

The glacier lake is near the Italian border with Switzerland and the snow-capped Alps can be seen to the north and surrounded be Pre-Alps mountains.

The lake is populated by several small towns with little squares and communities like this town, Menaggio.

We spent most of our time in the town of Bellagio and rode a trolley train that took us to the top of the promontory for the panoramic scene.
